Periodical foreign investment reporting proposed
The Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) is working on a draft circular on foreign direct investment periodical reporting applicable to state investment management agencies.

State investment management agencies, management organisations in particular fields and businesses are required to make periodical investment reports to the MPI and people’s committees of 63 cities and provinces nationwide.
The MPI will check how relevant state agencies handle their periodical reporting functions and give appraisal results on the national e-portal on foreign investment.
In April each year, the MPI will evaluate periodical reporting results for submission to the prime minister.
The reporting regime is slated for application from January 1, 2011.
