“Housing and real estate market development – worldwide experience and options for Vietnam” will be take place during November 26-28 at Hanoi’s Vietnam National Convention Centre.
Speakers will be real estate researchers and experts from Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam.
Minister of Construction Nguyen Hong Quan said: “Vietnam’s immature property market has played an important role in the nation’s socio-economic development. However, its development is spontaneous and unstable.”
“Through the conference, local real estate managers and enterprises will have a chance to study experiences on managing and controlling the real estate market. It will focus on setting up urban development master plans, methods to create land funds and mobilise capital for real estate market from other countries and provide lessons for the development of Vietnam’s property market,” said Quan.
In the framework of the conference, the International Real Estate Expo 2010 is expected to attract new foreign investors in Vietnam’s real estate.
The expo will have 100 stores showing the domestic and foreign real estate companies’ potential and technological breakthroughs, new building materials and property projects.
