Korean-invested Daesun Vina Ltd. today held the ceremony to start operation of a factory that manufactures, fills and trades trade mini gas cans at Dinh Vu Industrial Zone in the northern city of Haiphong.

The factory, with total investment of $5.5 million, has area of 6,400 square metres. It has planned capacity of 20 million mini gas cans per year. The material for producing the cans is imported from South Korea. The gas comes from PetroVietnam Northern Gas JSC. The products are going to be sold domestically as well as exported.

As of now DVIZ has attracted $3 billion in capital from 60 domestic and foreign projects. The developers of the zone are expanding to the surrounding of the existing DVIZ and Lach Huyen Port to eventually create the Deep C industrial cluster of 2,000 hectares lying amidst a deep sea port, an airport, and expressways.
