The award is a new category added to the annual BCI Asia Top 10 Awards since its inception in 2005.

BCI Asia Top 10 Awards recognises the top architectural firms and real estate developers that have made significant impact in real estate building and design in Southeast Asia.

Yip Hoong Mun, deputy CEO of CapitaLand (Vietnam) Holdings said at the award ceremony: “CapitaLand is one of the first international developers to enter Vietnam in 1994.

Over the years, we have built a strong track record of developing landmark projects including Hanoi Towers, a mixed development with offices, serviced residence and convention facilities, and Sofitel Plaza Hanoi, a hotel formerly known as Meritus Westlake Hanoi."

He added that: "Today, Vietnam is CapitaLand Group’s fourth pillar of growth after its core markets of China, Singapore and Australia. Currently, the group has presence in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hai Phong and Danang, with a portfolio of over 6,400 units of luxurious and value homes as well as over 1,300 apartment units in nine serviced residence properties. CapitaLand is committed to being a long-term real estate player in Vietnam given the country’s strong economic growth and rapid urbanisation. We will continue to build quality homes and serviced residences for the local communities and expatriates in Vietnam.”

Headquartered and listed in Singapore, CapitaLand's core businesses in real estate, hospitality and real estate financial services are focused in growth cities in Asia Pacific and Europe.
