Bui Thi Minh Nga - chief of International Division: Relation and School Management
of Hanoi Department of Education and Training
The event continued the success of a series of British University Vietnam’s workshops to enhance the skills of staff, teachers, and professionals at training organisations and international education consultants in Hanoi.
The training session inspires the participants with useful content like how to prepare and present effective slides, deal with technical factors, show confidence, use appropriate body language in group activities as well as practice presentation skills, focusing on the interaction between the audience and the presenter.
This is also typical international standard teaching methods that are applicable at BUV.
“I am so glad to see the interest and participation of numerous representatives from many high schools in Hanoi today. This shows the high demand in updating and improving the knowledge and skills of high school teachers,” said Bui Thi Minh Nga, chief of International Division: Relation and School Management at the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.
“I also welcome the British University Vietnam for joining us to organise the training sessions today. It is very useful contributions to today education,” Nga added.
Christopher David Jeffery, Dean of BUV, said, “We are working closely with our strategic partners to bring benefits to students and parents. That’s why we are working closely with the Ministry of Education and Training, the Department of Education and Training and high schools in Hanoi city area to organise these activities.”
After the seminar, the British University Vietnam granted certificates to participating teachers and had committed to providing more such workshops which were regarded as ‘interesting, useful and practical’ by the participants for not only Hanoi teachers but also those in other locations.
