Winners of Asia Award 2024 announced

The Asia Award 2024 ceremony took place on September 28 at the Pullman Hotel in Kuala Lumpur as part of the 2024 Asia Economic Cooperation Forum.

The list included 10 Vietnamese entries named in the top 10 in different categories, including TH true OAT & TH true TEA, Saigon Exhibition and Convention JSC, APU Education Development Group, S1-MeKong, Stellapharm, Licogi 18.3, Bitexco Nam Long, and Pageworthand.

Ngu Kim Che Ye Co., Ltd. was named in the top 10 Asia Golden Brands 2024, and its general director Cheng Shan – Lung was also honoured to receive the Asian Outstanding Leader award.

Established in July 2001, the company specialises in the production of extension springs, compression springs, and torsion springs. It now operates two factories in Vietnam’s southern province of Binh Duong. Since its establishment, the company has been proud to supply springs to Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Aqua, Brother, and many other Japanese companies. The company has achieved ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO13485, and AS9100 certifications.

The Asia Economic Cooperation Forum 2024 is a bridge for Vietnamese enterprises and international enterprises from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Hong Kong to meet, exchange experiences, seek partners, and learn about the market. The forum gathers large economic groups, banks, finance, construction, pharmaceuticals - cosmetics, high-tech agriculture, healthcare, education, technology, tourism, import-export, logistics, and other sectors.

The programme is held in rotation in different countries, focusing on promoting economic cooperation and sustainable development in the region.

The forum is organised annually by the ASEAN-Vietnam Entrepreneurship Development Research Institute, the Centre for Enterprise and Brand Development, the Malaysia-Vietnam Friendship Association in collaboration with the Embassy of Vietnam in Malaysia, the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (NCCIM), the ASEAN Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Malaysia, the International Chamber of Commerce of India, the International Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, and other agencies and units.
