VIB rolled out electricity bill collection service

Following the success of the electricity bill collection service launched in Ho Chi Minh City, today VIB officially signed a cooperation agreement with Central Power Corporation (EVN CPC) and South Power Corporation (EVN SPC) on delivering this service in the southeast region, Mekong River Delta, central coastal region, and the Central Highlands.

Accordingly, customers from these regions can go to VIB branches to pay their monthly electricity bills in flexible ways such as placement of an automatic order in current accounts (if they have had a current account at VIB), payment in cash at a payment counter of VIB, and transfers.

Corporate customers only need to provide VIB’s nearest branch with a code on their current or previous electricity bills to have the bills paid on their behalf.

With a simple procedure, what clients only need to do is providing VIB with the code on their electricity bills, then the bills will be paid quickly and accurately.

Especially, corporate customers enjoy various privileges when using this service. For example, they will enjoy free fee for payment of electricity bills, and free fee for money transfers inside VIB system. In addition, VIB also provides many other services such as 24/7 internet banking, cash management, trade finance at competitive interest rates, etc.

Since VIB introduced the service in Ho Chi Minh City six months ago of launching, the service has been used by more than 15,000 customers.
