On the occasion of the first anniversary of its Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Banking, Vietnam International Bank (VIB) organised “Economic Outlook for 2013” seminar for FDI customers.

Through this event, FDI customers had an objective and general view of the local macro-economic situation in 2013, which would help them to make proper business plans to suit the economic and market situations.

“Vietnam continues to offer excellent opportunities for foreign direct investment and a long term view needs to be taken in relation to any investment made. Patience will be rewarded in this dynamic and rapidly changing environment,” said Christopher Bulter – chief representative of Ho Chi Minh City Office of Ernst & Young Auditing Company at the seminar.

“The “Economic Outlook for 2013” is one of different activities held to celebrate the first anniversary of the FDI Banking of VIB. Through this seminar, we aim to not only provide FDI customers operating in Vietnam with useful information but also convey our sincerest thanks to our FDI customers for trusting and using our financial products and services. On this occasion, VIB commits to instantly working closely with FDI enterprises and striving to provide them with the best financial solutions,” said Duong Thi Mai Hoa – CEO of VIB.

Previously, VIB has held different seminars and programmes for FDI enterprises such as “Macroeconomic & FX market update and forecast” in Dong Nai province, “Customer Care Programme” for Taiwanese FDI customers, and preferential programmes on interest rates and foreign currencies for FDI customers.
