SYDNEY, Australia, July 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC), a Fortune 500 global technology services provider, today announced the successful deployment of an AI-driven bid writing solution for Ventia, one of the largest essential infrastructure service providers in Australia and New Zealand. The new platform significantly reduces the time required to draft initial bid responses—from days to minutes—enhancing Ventia's ability to quickly respond to complex, high-value tenders.
Delivered in just four months, Tendia, was developed in collaboration with DXC, and is already transforming the bid development process. Tendia automates the time-consuming task of sourcing and synthesising information from vast document libraries, empowering bid teams to generate high-quality, consistent, and tailored proposals faster and more efficiently.
"Working with DXC, we've been able to improve the speed and quality of our bid development process," said Em Hogan, GE Strategy, Digital & Corporate Affairs at Ventia. "Tendia enables our teams to focus on higher-value work, deliver more accurate proposals, and respond faster to complex, multi-million-dollar tenders. This project marks the first phase of Ventia's broader AI adoption strategy to improve how we support clients and deliver services across the business."
The project was launched to address the significant time and resource demands involved in responding to large tenders, which represent a key area of Ventia's business. Early inefficiencies in sourcing information made it difficult for teams to focus on crafting strategic, client-focused responses. DXC worked closely with Ventia to train the tool on relevant bid data, drawing from previous submissions to support faster, more confident responses.
To build the solution, DXC's data, AI and cloud teams integrated AI and AWS technologies - including Amazon Bedrock, Fargate, Kendra, and Cognito, to power Tendia's fast and context-aware content generation.
"This collaboration shows how AI can support business-critical operations – within the public sector," said Seelan Nayagam, President, Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa, DXC Technology. "We have drawn on our global scale and cross-industry AI experience to help Ventia turn an initial concept into an enterprise-ready solution. With over 10,000 AWS skilled resources and more than 15,000 experts trained through DXC's AI Academy and AI-Xcelerate programs, we're delighted to be supporting Ventia as it extends AI applications across more parts of its business," said Nayagam.
This implementation demonstrates how barriers to generative AI use can be overcome to significantly increase productivity with accuracy in high-stakes processes and decision-making scenarios.
DXC's Consulting & Engineering Services team operates and optimises mission-critical systems while bringing a talented global workforce to co-create, innovate and drive transformation with automation, AI Impact, and software-defined products and systems.
