Toyota Vietnam launches the all-new Corolla Altis 2014

With a slogan of “Dazzle in every drawnline”, the All New Corolla Altis 2014 will represent a new chapter of Toyota’s revolutionary generation.

 All New Corolla Altis 2014 will go on sales at all TMV’s dealers nationwide from today, September 23.

Also, to make customers know well and experience the car, the showroom events and customer test drive will be held in all dealers also from today, September 23.  

Customers can register the test drive in advance via the Altis microsite www.toyota.com/corolla-altis or directly visit the Dealers’ showroom. 

First introduced in 1966 in Japan, through its 10 generations and 47 years of development, Corolla Altis has become famous worldwide thanks to its superior quality, powerful performance and fuel efficiency.

Corolla has become “the most favourite car” in the world, with impressive accumulated sales of over 40 million units and continues firming its position as the best selling passenger car in the world. At the moment, Corolla Altis is produced in 16 countries, regions and marketed in over 154 countries worldwide.

In Vietnam, the first Corolla Altis launched in 1996. And during its 18 years in Vietnam, with many improvements in terms of interior and exterior design, driving performance & equipment Corolla Altis has completely satisfied the most demanding customers and quickly became the leader in compact segment accounting for 50 per cent of the market share; the total accumulated sale up to more than 48,000 units (as of Sep 2014).

“After six years since the last full model changes of Corolla Altis, Vietnam has developed significantly. Currently, the customers’ expectation on car and their driving experiences have become higher and higher. The car now is not only a mean of transportation but a reflection illustrates their style and personality as well as become a road companion who brings joy behind the wheel for the owners,” said Yoshihisa Maruta, TMV president.

“Thus, our engineers have deeply studied and listened to the customers’ comments from countries to countries to innovate the all new Corolla Altis to be closer with their desires,” he shared.

For the All New Altis in Vietnam, TMV will introduce three grades of Altis 2.0V (CVT-i), Altis 1.8G (CVT) and Altis 1.8G (M/T), with four exterior colours: Dark Brown, Attitude Black, Silver Metallic & Grey Metallic.

Two available interior colours are Ivory - expressing class-above luxury and Black - expressing a sense of high quality.

The revolutionary generation of Corolla Altis 2014 with many outstanding features will be the best choice for people who prefer modern lifestyle and enjoy young and proactive day life. With above improvements, all-new Corolla Altis  targets at private customers, younger than ones of the previous generation.
