The event took place at the Malaysia-Vietnam ICT Forum in Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) organised by QTSC and Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) to foster collaboration between Malaysian IT companies and Vietnamese companies.
The purpose of this partnership is to develop a mobile payment system for South East Asia by utilising well-known iPay88 online payment gateways and TMA-NextGrid technical skills on mobile application development.
"This partnership gives TMA a great opportunity to access iPay88 clients in financial sector. We are looking forward to collaborating with NextGrid and iPay88 to expand the South East Asia market," said TMA’s chairman Nguyen Huu Le.
TMA is the leading Vietnam software company with more than 1,100 engineers. Currently, TMA has six offices in Vietnam and five offices overseas. Apart from software outsourcing, it is developing mobile products and solutions for clients from 11 countries.

NextGrid’s executive director Fathullah HashimMohamad said NextGrid was happy to connect Malaysian and Vietnamese companies to leveraging strengths of companies in both countries to offer best of class solutions for the fast growing South East Asia economy. Hashim expected more similar strategic alliances in the near future.
