Thang Long Cement launches the new product

The product Cement PC50 (OPC) - trademark Thang Long is the research and development finding of top-ranked engineer working at Thang Long Cement plant under the engineer supported by PT. Semen Indonesia – the core shareholder of Thang Long cement.

The product “Cement PC50 - trademark Thang Long” is manufactured specially for the suppliers who are producing high quality or specialized concrete that used for big projects and conformed to the standards of many importing countries in Asia, Europe and America.

Johan Samudra, new CEO of Thang Long Cement Jsc said the new product Cement PC50 - trademark Thang Long is truly a strong step of the company to meet the market demands in domestic and international that is especially suitable for many kinds of construction projects with complicated requirements such as: bridges, roads, hydroelectric projects, reinforced concrete constructions, high compressive strength concrete constructions.

“This improvement expresses the guarantee of Thang Long Cement Jsc to fulfill customers’ requirement and provide our service better and better through the commitment to supply high and stable quality products,” he said.

The Cement PC50 - trademark Thang Long is a perfect product for industrial projects  or road projects which high technology with three significant specifications because of its high and stable quality. 

The quality of the product Cement PC50 - trademark Thang Long is remained well (the 28 days compressive strength reaches 52 Newton/ m2,±2). This character helps the concrete to be stable in quality strictly as per the designated standards and save the consumed cement, that completely fulfills the requirements of top concrete suppliers in Vietnam as well as foreign customers. This is also the most important specification that Thang Long Cement Jsc always put first for our products.  

The product’s long initial setting time assists to extend the permissible time for transferring concrete to the far construction works. Moreover, short final setting time not only assists the working conditions better and make the formwork uninstalling process faster but strengthen the constructions life also.

Moreover, the rate of free lime containing in the product Cement PC50 - trademark Thang Long is low shall help to avoid the calorification to the big block concrete, and the cracking or breaking shall be reduced accordingly.

The product Cement PC50 - trademark Thang Long has launched to the over-sea market by the first shipment more than 10,000 metric tons exported for PT. Semen Padang by pneumatic vessel for Indonesia market since the late May 2013. From now on, Thang Long Cement Jsc has officially become one of few cement manufacturers in Vietnam has possibility to export bulk cement directly through the conveyor system equipped in specialized vessels.

This is considered as a firmed improvement for the purpose of the big target to make Thang Long Cement Jsc to be the first-ranked cement manufacturer inVietnam and be one of strong members of the group PT. Semen Indonesia.

Last December, PT. Semen Indonesia (former named as Semen Gresik) into Thang Long Cement Jsc. Semen Indonesia became the core shareholder of Thang Long Cement Jsc with the holding 70 per cent of total shares.

The investment of Semen Indonesia with more than 50 years of experience in cement manufacture shall be a motivation for Thang Long Cement Jsc  to be supported wholly and increase the charter capital of the company from VND1,750 billion to VND4,200 billion.
