Tax payment obligations to be fulfilled in five minutes at VIB

Today Vietnam International Bank (VIB) officially launched a service of state budget collection for corporate customers nationwide.

Accordingly, once enterprises need to pay tax, they just bring a form of payment into State budget to VIB branches where their tax obligations will be fulfilled within five minutes. Enterprises can also retrieve their tax information at VIB’s branches as needed.

From 16 July 2012, VIB also officially offers a service of domestic tax collection nationwide. Thanks to VIB’s online connection to web portals of the General Department of Taxation and the State Treasury, enterprises are able to fulfill their tax obligations in real-time once they have completed transaction at VIB’s branches.

Specially, from July 16 to October 16, 2012, enterprises will enjoy fee free of charge for tax payment at VIB. After six months of pilot implementation, this service has attracted special interest of enterprises, demonstrated through more than VND5 trillion of state budget collected by VIB.

In addition, under the cooperation agreement with the State Treasury and General Department of Customs, VIB will run pilot services of import-export tax collection and import-export tax guarantee in key big cities, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai and Binh Duong.

Simultaneously, VIB plans to launch the service of import-export tax collection nationwide in the coming time. These two services will help enterprises save time and costs and quicken the customs clearance.
