Securities firm bucks the trend
Kim Eng Vietnam Securities launched a branch on southern province Ba Ria Vung Tau on July 28.
Kim Eng Vietnam’s general director Le Minh Tam said the firm had carefully studied demand for securities trading in the southern province.
“The new trading office was greatly welcomed by local investors,” said Tam.
The new branch was the last of the foreign-backed brokerage’s plan to open at once three branches in Vietnam. The two preceding ones are in Danang and Can Tho.
Kim Eng Vietnam said in its statement that it is building a foundation for long-term development in Vietnam.
It added that it was also projecting to expand further to southern provinces this year.
