Two master 17,000 British pound scholarships were granted to candidates from National Assembly Office and Ministry of Foreign Affairs under Chevening Scholarship Programme.
The amounts were funded by Prudential Vietnam, British Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the two universities: Bradford and King College London.
Managed by British Council Vietnam, Chevening Scholarship Programme is initiated by British Ministry of Foreign Affairs with sponsorships from British corporates in Vietnam. The programme is designed to support young graduates wishing to achieve higher study in the UK.
Prudential Vietnam started sponsoring Chevening Programme in 1998 and so far, the company has sponsored 24 scholarships to outstanding young officers from 20 governmental bodies of Vietnam.
