The company is a subsidiary of TH Milk Food Joint Stock Company of Vietnam (TH Group), owner of the well-known TH True MILK brand.

The prime minister requested the Ministry of Planning and Investment to complete procedures to grant an investment certificate for the company.

The first phase is a part of a $2.7 billion hi-tech concentrated dairy and fresh milk production project, which is going to be Vietnam’s largest agricultural and food processing project to be invested in Russia.

Covering an area of 140,000 hectares, the $2.7 billion project will be developed in three phases from 2016 to 2025. Construction of the first phase is expected to be kicked off in April 2016.

Once completed, the facility will house a total number of 350,000 cattles, producing 5,900 tonnes of milk per day, equalling 1.8 million litres annually.

In November 2015, TH Group showcased its milk products at the Vietnam High-quality Goods Fair in Moscow. After tasting the product samples, visitors said they wanted these products to be officially marketed in Russia.

In preparation for the launch of TH true MILK products, in July 2015, the group’s chairwoman Thai Huong personally visited Russia to research the possibility of implementing this project which now receives great support from the government of Moscow.
