“Amway Vietnam is honored to partner with Tuoi Tre newspaper in this “ Prevention of Early School Drop-out 2012” scholarship programme to support disadvantaged students to overcome challenges and achieve higher performance,” said How Kam Chiong, Amway Vietnam’s general director.

“This is also an opportunity to recognise the dedicated teachers who have helped the students perform and excel in their studies. We would like to be a long-term partner of Tuoi Tre in bringing the opportunities for the young generation to have a better future.”

“Prevention of Early School Drop-out” scholarship is part of Tuoi Tre’s “For a better future” scholarship programme. It was established through heart-breaking stories of students in the central Quang Ngai and Nghe An and Mekong Delta provinces, who had to give up their studies due to financial difficulties.

To date, the programme has awarded more than 1,000 scholarship totaling VND4 billion to secondary and high-school students in order to help prevent them from early school drop-out.
