Sticker warning of contents not suitable for children

Under Circular 09/2017/TT-BTTTT, dated June 23, 2017 of the Ministry of Information and Communications on content ratio, broadcasting time and broadcasting period intended for children and warning of contents not suitable for children in broadcasting newspapers, printed newspapers, online newspapers and publications, since October 1, all publications for children must clarify ages at the cover.

When using children images for illustration, in case of under seven-year-old children, publishing houses are required to get permissions from their parents or guardians.

Guidance on online issuance of work permit to foreign workers

Circular 23/2017/TT-BLDTBXH regulates that at least 20 days prior to the day employers plan to employ foreign workers, they must fill in the declaration form and submit a report explaining their demand for using foreign workers.

In case of any changes in the demand for using foreign workers, employers must submit an explanation report on the changes via the portal, at least 10 days ahead of the day they plan to employ foreign workers.

The Circular took effect from October 2, 2017.

Exchange management of the business of prize-winning electronic games for foreigners

Circular 11/2017/TT-NHNN dated August 30, 2017 shall come into force since October 15. Accordingly, the Circular guides the exchange management of the business of prize-winning electronic games for foreigners.

The content of this Circular focuses on amending regulations on transitional provisions, dossiers, processes and procedures for the issuance, reissuance, adjustment, renewal and revocation of the License for foreign currency receipts and expenditures (License) as well as other foreign exchange transactions in accordance with the transitional provisions of Decree No. 175/2016/ND-CP to simplify administrative procedures; with the major substances.

The Circular adds the composition of dossiers which are written documents from competent government agencies permitting the business of prize-winning electronic game for enterprises licensed to operate in prize-winning electronic games before the effective date of Decree No.86/2013 / ND-CP.

Enterprises are no longer required to submit Certificate of eligibility for business in prize-winning electronic game if they are licensed to operate in prize-winning electronic game before the effective date of Decree No.86/2013/ND-CP or do not have the need to convert the Certificate of eligibility for business.
