New policies take effect since September

The Government has issued Decree No.80/2017/ND-CP dated July 17 on safe, friendly education environment and school violence prevention and control. It takes effect since September 5.

Decree No.82/2017/ND-CP of the Government stipulates the calculation method and collecting rate for the amount for the license for the right to exploit water resources.

The government has issued Decree No.89/2017/ND-CP stipulating special mechanisms and financial budget policies for the northern city of Hai Phong. The special mechanisms are aimed at enhancing fast and sustainable socio-economic development and facilitating the city to take advantages of its resources.

Decree No. 90/2017/NĐ-CP on administrative penalties for violations in fields of aquaculture takes effect since September 15, 2017. The maximum fine level for each administrative violation in aquaculture is VND50 million for individuals and VND100 million for organizations.

The Government has announced Decree No. 92/2017/NĐ-CP on amending and supplementing some articles of Decree No. 20/2008/ND-CP on receiving and handling individuals' and organizations' feedback and proposals on administrative regulations.

Decree No. 93/2017/ND-CP defines financial regimes for foreign credit institutions and bank branches and financial supervisory agencies, appraisal of state-investment efficiency in 100% state-owned credit institutions and credit institutions of which the State has stakes.

The PM has promulgated Decision No. 31/2017/QD-TTg on the list of sectors in which public service providers shall be transformed into joint stock companies.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has issued Circular No. 11/2017/TT-BCT on temporary import, re-export, temporary export, re-import, and transshipment of goods.
