Nestle’s chocolate malted beverage brand MILO on June 13 launched its third annual summer camp for children in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Danang.

The camp entails activities every Saturday and Sunday between June 13 and July 19, where children are instructed in football, basketball and, for the first time, dance sport. It is expected to attract 32,400 participants, up from 9,000 in 2013 and 25,000 in 2014.

At the camp, parents can get advices on nutrition and children’s psychological development. Besides providing a playground for children in the summer, the camp also aims to give parents an opportunity to bond with their children.

“Nestle MILO tries to add new activities to the camp,” said Jerome Pugget, Nestle Vietnam’s general director. “The camp show our commitment to bringing value to the community where the company operates.”

Nestle MILO also sponsors many sports events for children including the Phu Dong football competition, the Ho Chi Minh City primary school student basketball competition and the Nhi Dong newspaper primary school student basketball competition.
