GCO reported that 10,273 motorbikes worth $11.47 million were imported under completely built units (CBU), 23 per cent and 18.5 per cent higher than last month in volume and value terms.
During the period, the number of imported CBU cars was 4,597, while the total import revenue was $79.6 million.
This represents a decrease of 4 per cent and 15.8 per cent in volume and value compared to October.
Since early this year, the country has imported 41,570 cars worth $763.6 million, 28.1 per cent and 16.8 per cent lower year on year in terms of volume and value.
Meanwhile, car parts saw a 13.9 per cent increase in import revenue since early this year, with the total revenue of $1.56 billion. In the first half of November alone, the revenue rose by 2 per cent.
