Among them, VJA said it had suspended 4 flights to/from Da Nang on Saturday, and all flights to/from Da Nang, Hue and Vinh 1on Sunday.
Passengers already booking tickets for these flights will be arranged to next flights if weather conditions permits, or may completely return or reserve the tickets on demand.
On Sunday morning, JPAJetstar Pacific also canceled 12 flights from/to the region, including BL590, BL594, BL598 (Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang), BL522, BL524, BL523, BL525 (HCMC-Vinh), and BL563, BL564 Hanoi - Da Nang).
In the airports at both Hue and Da Nang, rescheduled flights will be resumed after 6:00 pm Sunday if the weather gets better.
Since Saturday evening, VNA has provided more flights on larger aircraft to serve the rising number of affected passengers. VNA representative said the additional solutions will be informed to passengers following specific happenings of the typhoon.
In total, the VNA has adjusted and cancel a total of 62 flights to/from the airports in Da Nang, Hue, Nha Trang, Vinh, Dong Hoi, Thanh Hoa, Pleiku, Buon Ma Thuot, Quy Nhon, and Tuy Hoa.
They included 8 Hanoi - Da Nang flights, 4 Hanoi-Hue flights, 4 Hanoi-Qui Nhon/Tuy Hoa flights, 4 Hanoi-Vinh/ Dong Hoi flights, 9 HCMC-Da nang flights, and 8 HCMC-Thanh Hoa flights.
