This recognition as one of Asia’s best workplaces, received on August 8, underscores MB's relentless efforts in fostering a sustainable work environment that generates value for customers and enhances employee satisfaction. This year has marked the debut of the 'Sustainable Workplace Award', with MB becoming the first bank to receive this prestigious honour.

The competition in Vietnam has been fierce, with 704 companies vying for recognition, and 53,250 employees participating in the survey. MB’s performance was deemed the most outstanding, with its average scores in the three evaluation categories - Core (Strategy - Structure), Self (Individual), and Group (Collective) - exceeding the market average.

As MB continues to pursue its vision of becoming a leading digital enterprise and financial group, it prides itself on consistently empowering its employees to take ownership of decision-making, problem-solving, and the implementation of innovative solutions aligned with modern trends.

This long-term commitment to building a cohesive and talented workforce is reflected in the bank’s receipt of the 'Sustainable Workplace Award', a testament to its integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into its operations and its prioritisation of sustainable practices.

The bank has also harnessed digital platforms to streamline operations and minimise environmental impact, with over 90 per cent of internal processes now conducted digitally, and the entirety of its office spaces incorporating green, eco-friendly designs, boosting employee productivity and morale.

In a statement to HR Asia, Dang Minh Huyen, MB’s chief human resources officer said, "Building a distinctive corporate culture, fostering sustainable development, and promoting continuous learning and innovation are central to MB’s strategy of becoming a major digital enterprise and financial group."

"As we work towards becoming a more digital and sustainable organisation, we have embedded ESG principles into MB’s core strategy. Key initiatives are underway to advance our ESG maturity, enhancing MB’s credibility and effectiveness while contributing to national and global sustainable development goals," Huyen added.
