Leading life insurer Manulife Vietnam last week co-operated with the Vietnam Human Resource and risk and insurance adviser Jardine Lloyd Thompson to organise a seminar on efficient investment and efficiency retention, which attracted about a hundred human resource and financial officers from across the country.

The seminar outlined attractive human resource pension strategies

The seminar saw the participants share their practical experiences on staff retention and solutions in the implementation of company pension schemes, together with an overview of fund management from the pension product provider.

At this event, Manulife Asset Management (Vietnam) Company Limited outlined the advantages of indirect investment through a voluntary pension fund which can help individuals save for their retirement.

Employers were invited to consider this investment as an effective employee benefit strategy to attract, recruit, and retain talents.

“Employee retention – especially key employees – has never been so critical to companies. Along with a company’s reputation and competitive remuneration package, a good benefit policy is regarded as one of the most important solutions to enhance the companies’ recruiting advantages,” Bui Thi Kim Quy, chief marketing officer of Manulife Vietnam shared on the sidelines the seminar.

“The voluntary pension product is a solution that can help enterprises enhance their employee benefit package, and allow employees to set up a good financial plan for their retirement,” she added.

Among a wide range of innovative life insurance products, Manulife Vietnam is also offering a voluntary pension product named “Manulife – My Freedom” designed for employees from 18-65 years old, providing a flexible retirement payout scheme.

Besides retirement benefits, the product also offers insurance coverage for death, total and permanent disability, and funeral allowance to insured members.
