Justin Bieber to promote Vietnamese toys in US

Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber will promote Vietnamese toys at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 10, said CES’s official website.

A source told Tuoi Tre that Hanoi-based Robotics Tosy Corp. had contracted Bieber to advertise for the company's new product at the 3-day event, a high-tech entertainment robot that can dance to the beat of the singer, guests and visitors.

Bieber will also sign autographs and interact with fans and media.

Bieber is among the most-searched character on Google in 2011. He also topped the list of Hollywood's highest-earning teens with $53 million last year.

Justin Drew Bieber was discovered in 2008 by Scooter Braun, who came across Bieber's videos on YouTube and later became his manager.

Bieber's debut single, "One Time", was released in 2009 and peaked in the top ten in Canada and charted in the top thirty in several international markets.

His debut album, My World, followed in November 2009, and was later certified platinum in the US.

Bieber's first full studio release, My World 2.0, was released in March 2010 and debuted at number one and within the top ten of several countries, and was certified platinum in the US. It was preceded by the worldwide top-ten single, "Baby".

Bieber released his second studio album, Under the Mistletoe, in November 2011, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.

Bieber has received numerous awards, including Artist of the Year at the 2010 American Music Awards — and has been nominated for numerous awards, including Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album at the 53rd Grammy Awards.
