The aid will be used for a project to build and implement e-customs and national one-stop-shop customs mechanism in favor of customs modernization.

The project aims to transfer Japanese automatic customs system to Việt Nam and assist the receiving country in successfully deploying the national one-stop-shop customs mechanism.

The non-refundable aid will be spent on developing the Việt Nam Automated Cargo and Port Consolidated System and Việt Nam Customs Information System (VNACCS/VCIS) to facilitate the circulation of imports and exports and establish a portal for the realization of one-stop-shop customs.

The project is expected to finalize in 2014 after 35 months of implementation.
