The Japanese based company ‘Tokyo Style’ opened a new factory in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue on June 26.

The Hue factory has 100 per cent of the investment capital coming from Japan, and an operation for a period of 50 years.

The $21 million factory is located in Phu Bai Industrial Zone on a site of 22,750 square meters.

The factory has the capacity to produce approximately 500,000 garments a year, with only 5 per cent to be sold on the domestic market.

In the future, the company hopes to raise domestic sales to 30 per cent.
