Ink settles on EPC contract

An EPC contract for the GPP2 gas processing plant in Nam Con Son 2 gas pipeline project between the PVGas and the consortium of PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation (PVC) and PVC-MS will be inked on July 16.

The total package value is over $441 million, including GPP2 gas processing plant, distributed stations and piping system.

It is expected that after the completion of the project in 2013, the gas quantity transported by the new pipeline could reach 3 billion cubic metres in 2014.

The GPP2 gas processing plant is one of the most important items of the Nam Con Son 2 gas project. The onshore GPP2 plant is built near Dinh Co GPP plant Ba Ria-Vung Tau province. The 39 kilometre onshore piping system passes through Long Dien and Tan Thanh districts in southern Ba Ria Vung Tau province.
