Independent auditing profession recognised
Three auditing firms and twelve individuals have been awarded the Certificate of Merit for contribution to the development of the independent auditing profession in Vietnam for the period from 2006 - 2010.
The firms are honoured with the certification are PricewaterhouseCoopers Vietnam Ltd, Grant Thornton Vietnam Ltd and BDO Vietnam Ltd.
One of the three auditing firms - PwC Vietnam is recognised both on a firm and individual basis. Ian Lydall, chairman of PwC Vietnam is also the only foreign auditor to receive an individual award.
These awards were officially announced on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary ceremony of the independent auditing profession in Vietnam (1991 - 2011).
