Huynh Thy appointed Atlas Copco Vietnam’s distributor

Huynh Thy recently signed an agreement with Atlas Copco Group to become a compressor distributor of Atlas Copco in Vietnam, from Danang city to southern provinces.

Huynh Thy will distribute four main compressor lines including AII, AIP, GEN and ASR produced by Atlas Copco.

“Compressor industry today is quite popular in many industries such as food processing industry, cement industry, petrol industry. Huynh Thy company is a dynamic company and has been our familiar partner for long time, so we choose Huynh Thy as our distributor,” said general director of Atlas Copco Vietnam Yap Boon Pen.

Pen added that Vietnam was one of the world’s fasting growing markets, according to Atlas Copco Group’s report. In Asia, there are three countries having such successful growth including Vietnam, Indonesia and South Korea.

Atlas Copco manufactures and assembles products in 20 countries. Atlas Copco’s products and services emphasise in four main business areas: industrial tools (28 per cent), compressors (25 per cent), construction and mining (41 per cent), aftermarket and rental (6 per cent).

Atlas Copco has an office in southern Binh Duong province and is the second player in compressor market in Vietnam.

“I hope that Huynh Thy trading and services company will become the leading compressor company in Vietnam,” Pen said.
