Hospitals in good health
Prudential Vietnam has transferred a health equipment packages to Vietnam’s mountainous Ha Giang province.
The transfer was included in a social project “Breath of Life” assisting local hospitals in poor provinces, in which Prudential provided VND1.2 billion ($57,970).
According to Prudential, the project had helped to reduce the rate of newborn deaths in those hospitals to 8-10 per cent within three years, sharply down from 30-40 per cent.
Prudential has chosen Ha Giang province’s Yen Minh hospital, Binh Phuoc province’s General Hospital and Can Tho city’s General Hospital to be project recipients.
