Honeywell engineers technical skills
The US’ Honeywell has opened its new regional Automation College in Hanoi, boosting the technical skills of local engineers.
The college is built in partnership with PetroVietnam University and Honeywell said it would offer a variety of different training initiatives as well as building a strong future talent pool for the process industry in Vietnam and South East Asia.
The college is located at PetroVietnam University. For this collaboration, Honeywell Process Solutions will provide the full suite of equipment – both hardware and software – that will be used in the curriculum.
“I believe the college will be a great resource for Vietnamese students,” said Jose Simon, director of Global Service Operations at Honeywell Process Solutions.
