GM launches All New Spark AT

General Motors Vietnam (GMV) on May 20 introduced the new Chevrolet Spark 1.0 Automatic Transmission (AT) to the Vietnamese market.

Stylishly designed with high levels of comfort and safety, the Spark AT is targeted at young, dynamic first-time car buyers and urban residents.

The sporty four-passenger, five-door Spark has a convenient four-speed automatic transmission. This, along with its compact size, makes it easy to drive and highly maneuverable in Vietnam’s urban traffic environment. The award-winning Spark also comes with four air bags, an industry first offering in mini segment. A new  Spark AT costs VND377 million ($18,000).

It will help to increase convenience. It serves as a fresh breeze in Vietnam’s automobile market that will enable more consumers to make their dream of owning their own car come true."

 
The exterior of the Spark AT is dominated by a stylish grille, fashionable fog lamps with chrome rims and classy wheels. Electric mirrors with a drying function enhance safe driving.

The unique rear design has a sporty spoiler and high-mounted stop lamp. It comes in several modern and youthful colors: Galaxy White, Green Cocktail, Moroccan Blue, Ice teal, Super Red and Poly Silver.

The Spark AT has a spacious interior that is comfortable for both the driver and passengers. The interior has leather accents, a trip odometer display and adjustable steering wheel. Its entertainment system includes four speakers and a CD player with MP3 USB and AUX, Ipod connectivity.

The chassis of the Spark AT features high-strength steel. In addition to two air bags for driver and front passenger, the Spark AT is equipped with two seat-side airbags which are the best-in-class and unique feature offer in a mini-car in Vietnam. Moreover, the mini-car includes ABS, central door lock and an anti-theft system.

The Spark AT consumes just 5.1 litres of fuel for every 100 kilometres (in ordinary testing conditions), making it the most economical car with an automatic transmission available in Vietnam. It also has a low maintenance cost.
