FPT toasts healthy business results
Its revenue and pre-tax profit of VND9.79 trillion ($470 million) and VND968 billion ($46.5 million) in the first five months, equivalent to 106 per cent and 100 per cent of the plan for the first five months and 36 per cent and 37 per cent of the whole year plan, respectively is considered a noteworthy business outcome.
Its earnings per share was VND2,162 ($0.103) after the first five months, equivalent to 35 per cent to the whole year’s plan.
The services and software sectors remain in a strong development speed amid difficulties. Software exports recorded a growth rate of 34 per cent year-on-year. Domestic market software development grew 47 per cent, while information technology expanded 19 per cent compared to the same period of 2012.
Telecommunication services, meanwhile, have retained a good growth rate of 18 per cent year-on-year.
