ConocoPhillips awarded scholarship for Vietnamese students

The US based ConocoPhillips today (December 7th) presented scholarships to 35 students from the Petroleum Faculty at the Hanoi University of Mining and Geology.

ConocoPhillips launched the annual scholarship program in 2007 to support and encourage students in the field of petroleum engineering studies who are top performers through their entrance exams and courses grades as well as their participation and leadership in class.

The program is aligned with ConocoPhillips' commitment to support education in Vietnam.

The company has invested more than $1.3 billion in the Vietnamese petroleum industry since opening its first office in Hanoi in 1996.
