The popular sedan has new exterior styling and the convenience of a new automatic transmission and additional features.
“The all-new Aveo is the result of GM’s extensive global small car development programme. It was created for emerging markets such as Vietnam,” said GM Vietnam managing director Gaurav Gupta at the launch ceremony. “With its new look, features and competitive positioning, the Aveo 2013 will support Chevrolet’s continued growth in Vietnam.”
The Aveo 2013 has a strong, more attractive European look that will appeal to younger buyers. It includes global Chevrolet design cues such as a dual-port grille with chromed bars and flared fenders. A low-hanging “big mouth” front bumper and fog lights pushed to either side of the fascia give it a sense of aggression.
It also comes with redesigned 15-inch five-spoke wheels, styling headlights and taillight clusters, chromed door handles and power adjustable folding mirrors. All are new on the 2013 model.
The Aveo 2013 will be sold at an attractive price of VND435 million for an Aveo MT and VND469 million for an Aveo AT, that will give it an advantage versus other vehicles in its segment.
