These range from a tree planting, a screening of the documentary film, outdoor acoustic concerts to an eco-friendly candle lights under Saigon Skies. The event will be opened to the public.
Earth Hour is a worldwide event organised by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). It is held annually towards the end of March to encourage households and businesses to switch off their non-essential lights for an hour in hopes of mobilising people to take action on climate change.
The event first took place in 2007 in Sydney Australia and now it has inspired millions of people in 7,001 cities and towns across 152 countries and territories. This year, Earth Hour will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2013, from 8:30pm to 9:30pm, local time.
At The Vista in Ho Chi Minh City, its residents will turn off the façade and non-essential lights of their property.
