BigC helping out shoppers

The BigC supercentres are cementing its position as a leading retailer of quality goods.

A promotion will be applied to 420 essential goods with 10-50 per cent discounts during March 2-19. BigC organised the fifth type of programme and received enthusiastic support from customers.

Francois Gourdault-Montagne, corporate director of Vietnam BigC Company, said that BigC supercentres realised the impact of consume price rising to consumers, so this promotion aimed to protect consumers as well as responding to the government’s appeal for stabilise prices.

“We will try hard to deliver to the customers the most reasonable price at the market despite input costs rising. We also sent a message to suppliers that need to be careful with the decision to price rising in order to protect consumers,” said Nguyen Thai Dung, deputy general director of Vietnam BigC Company.

Meanwhile, BigC supercentres also continue to develop programme “beauty fair” with 5-50 per cent discount for 1,000 cosmetic products of famous brands such as L’Oreal, Revlon, Olay, Hazeline on March 8.

Big C supercentres, a modern retail business, which is managed under the umbrella of Casino Group. It is one of the major retailers in the world, with over 200,000 employees working in more that 11,000 stores in Vietnam, Thailand, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Colombia, France, Madagascar and Mauritius. Today, BigC has a total of 14 stores around Vietnam.
