The "Vietnam safe travel" application by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in coordination with the Vietnam Directorate of Market Surveillance has been launched to help tourists find safe destinations.

Visitors can easily find and share holiday destinations through the "Vietnam safe travel" app

Tourists can easily check on the safety level of each destination, check digital maps for safety warnings, and search information about services such as restaurants and hotels via the app.

This is part of the second phase of the programme to stimulate domestic tourism themed "Vietnam – Safe and Attractive Destination". Apart from generating benefits for tourists, the app also supports tourism services with feedback from tourists.

"Vietnam safe travel” app connects tourists, service providers, and state management agencies. Visitors can easily report all problems such as fake or poor-quality goods, fraud, exorbitant prices, and improper advertising.

The information will be received, verified, and processed by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in coordination with the Vietnam Directorate of Market Surveillance. The application is connected to the professional information system of the General Department of Market Surveillance, allowing the two parties to easily exchange information, receiving and processing feedback from tourists and protecting tourists’ interests.

When enjoying a tourism service, visitors can use the application to check whether the facility complies with safety standards.

During and after using tourism services, travellers can reflect on the quality of the service on the app by providing ratings or posting photos or videos.
