Airbus, owned by European group EADS, said its aircraft deliveries came to 418 compared with 387 for Boeing.
In October alone, the company chalked up 193 new orders, of which 180 were for its medium-haul workhorse the A320, with no cancellations.
For the 10 months period, total orders stood at 1,372 -- 845 for the A320 -- with 141 cancellations.
Boeing on its website says it had won 428 orders by November 1, of which 310 were for its mainstay medium-haul 737 aircraft. Total orders came to 538 less 110 cancellations.
