Two robotic toys of TOSY Vietnam, namely DiscoRobo and SketRobo, got three special prizes at the American International Toys Fair 2012 in New York from February 12-15.

TOSY Vietnam is the only Vietnamese business to penetrate the world’s electronics consumption market.

DiscoRobo is a battery-operated robot toy that can dance to the rhythm of the music with lively facial expressions. Especially, foreign partners said DiscoRobo moved in a more graceful manner than other similar robots. The product is expected to be available in the world market by the end of this year.

SketRobo is a drawing robot designed in two versions. In the first version, the robot can store two hundreds of pictures in its memory and children can select any picture for it to draw. In the second version, SketRobo is installed with a camera to capture the images of any objects and persons and draw in full detail.

Ho Vinh Hoang, TOSY Vietnam general director said this is not only a toy but also a tool for children to learn how to draw and paint. The new products will come onto the world market in early 2013.

DiscoRobo was selected as the best product by Popular Science Magazine at the exhibition. SketRobo also received Space Age and another prize by Mashable - a blog that runs articles in the fields of entertainment, technology and web development, he added.
