Hai Van Pass has a total length of 21km with its highest peak reaching 496 metres above sea level. Transport by road and rail are difficult due to the mountainous terrain. |
The winding Hai Van railway stops at different stations along its path such as Kim Lien, Hai Van Nam, Kim Lien, Lang Co, and Hai Van Bac. |
The railway passes over 18 bridges and through six tunnels. Most trains crossing the Hai Van Pass travel at a slow speed. |
