Ford Vietnam has simultaneously opened one new state-of-the-art authorised dealership and two new branches- one upgraded dealership in the southern city of Can Tho, and the other 2S branch in Pleiku city in the Central Highlands’ Gia Lai province- and one new boutique Ha Thanh Ford in Hanoi capital, bringing the company’s total number of facilities in the country to 25.

Located on Vo Nguyen Giap Street in Cai Rang district, the new Can Tho dealership reports VND42 billion ($2 million) in investment.

The three-story dealership, encompassing a showroom and a workshop, has a total floor area of 3,764 square metres and will employ a total of 56 staff members, including service advisors, technicians, and sales consultants.

The dealership has put VND8 billion ($380,000) into service equipment alone, with 30 repairing chambers and three painting chambers across a total workshop area of approximately 2,600sq.m.

Brand new vehicles are displayed on the ground floor over a total area of 376sq.m, while the dealership’s second floor features a customer lounge, a sales room, office and meeting room, with an area of approximately 402sq.m.

The 2S Gia Lai dealership in Pleiku city reports VND15 billion ($714,000) in investment and covers a total floor area of 2,200sq.m including a showroom, maintenance areas, and office. A total of 27 people will be employed.

The new My Dinh branch of Ha Thanh Ford, located in Hanoi’s Nam Tu Liem district, also reports VND15 billion ($714,000) in investment, including a showroom and an office space with total area of 360sq.m. A total of 24 people will be employed for this branch.

All of the new locations will enjoy modern infrastructure and equipment, and will be headed by leadership teams with extensive experience in the automotive sector.

“At Ford Vietnam, our customers are our most important asset, and our mission here is to continuously seek new ways of better servicing our existing clients, and reaching out to new ones,” said Ford Vietnam’s managing director Metelo Arias.

“With our new authorised dealerships at Can Tho, Gia Lai and new My Dinh branch in Hanoi, we are further expanding our reach across the country, enabling us to provide even more Vietnamese drivers with a comprehensive and professional suite of maintenance and sales services.

“We look forward to building an extensive and loyal customer base in these locations,” he said.

The three new dealerships and branches come just in time for the release of Ford’s all-new Ranger Wildtrak 3.2L, which is set to take Vietnam’s 4x4 market by storm with its best-in-class features including a super-efficient diesel engine, and smart technologies such as Bluetooth®  with Voice Control and Rear View Camera system.

All of the new dealerships and branches will offer a range of exciting giveaways for customers during the opening period, including service vouchers, diagnostic tests, and a range of other lucky draw prizes.
