At the same time, the company donated some facilities to Dat Cuoc Health Station located in the same vicinity.
Especially, this community supporting event engaged many Bayer Vietnam’ employees, who voluntarily played the comedy on stage at the eco-talking event as well as joining hands to support all other related logistic works of the whole programme.
“As a company, beside the business activities, Bayer is also a corporate citizen with social commitments to support the local community. Bayer has the tradition in doing social responsibility through social security activities to provide a better life to the people,” said Torsten Velden, managing director of Bayer Vietnam.
“In the exciting atmosphere of Christmas and New Year, we want to bring meaningful activities to the locality and also the young children,” Velden added.
The “Eco-talking” event brought excitement to the students of Dat Cuoc Primary School with the comedy performed by Bayer Vietnam’s staff as well as the surprising appearance of Santa Claus as an ambassador to motivate the good behaviors of the young students with Christmas gifts.
The event also included funny environmental interactive experiments and quizzes with the aim to provide knowledge on climate change, encouraging them to act on environmental protection to have more sustainable life.
This is the third year the programme has been run, reaching over 10,000 young children at local primary schools.
Dat Cuoc Health Station is a public centre that provides basic healthcare service to nearly 3,000 people in the local community.

This is a part of Bayer Vietnam’s social activities in supporting local healthcare and social needs.
