This information was released at the tree planting event held by VSIP Quang Ngai on July 25 to promote green and serene living at VSIP Quang Ngai.
VSIP Quang Ngai urban area, covering a total area of 254.51 hectares, was granted its investment certificate in June last year. The construction and backfilling have started since mid-February 2016, and 24ha of infrastructure and amenities will be completed by the end of the year. Once completed, 6,500 housing units, with a capacity of 34,650 residents will be handed overto the province.
To support residents in the township, VSIP has set aside 15 per cent of the entire project for greenery. Hence, its first project aims to build a park which everyone can enjoy. The 21,000 square metre park was designed by a Singaporean consultant with families in mind.
According to VSIP, this is a three-generation park where the elderly, parents, and children can enjoy the flower garden, outdoor exercise equipment, the 400 metre jogging track, the water fountain features, and the children’s playground. The VSIP central park will boast of more than 80 species of trees and plants.
Besides the central park, VSIP also plans to develop VSIP Plaza, a housing restaurant, a café, and shops to cater for the residents. The developer has already started constructing its first residential development, called Thien My Loc, which is targeted for launch in the second half of 2016.
