The VINE Group has introduced to Hanoians a renovated VINE Cellar Door, which now includes a fully service classy gourmet market, deli and café on the ground level, while the wine retail section will remain at the basement level.

This rides on the success of VINE Cellar Door’s weekly Wine@VINE events on Friday nights, a deli-styled event serving canapés while sampling a variety of wines offered for the evening.

The crowd that frequents the Wine@VINE events has shown that there is a demand for a truly high-end deli, which inspired VINE Group to re-launch VINE Cellar Door as a gourmet deli and market.

Beyond just being a wine retail outlet, VINE CELLAR DOOR has expanded its services to also become a gourmet deli and market with an open kitchen for quick bites. The reconceptualisation of VINE Cellar Door is the brainchild of VINE Group’s new managing director Geoffrey Deetz. The ex-chef, an established restaurateur with his own restaurant in HCMC, brings 34 years of experience to VINE.

Geoffrey is well suited to bring a new and exciting concept to Hanoi with over 27 years experience cooking Vietnamese food, both in California and Vietnam. More than a gourmet market, deli and café, the new VINE Cellar Door is a place where creative thinking can be realized fully with wine, food and other products.

The new VINE Cellar Door features an open kitchen at the back, where gourmet pizzas, home made pates and American baked goods will be offered. This will also be the first time a brick oven and a large indoor spit roaster is made visible to customers.

VINE Cellar Door will also have prepared foods to take home and reheat, while the exclusive TWG Tea continues to be a signature of the gourmet market. In addition to the institutional Wine@VINE events every Friday night, VINE Cellar Door will also be organizing a weekly themed party on Sundays.

“The new VINE Cellar Door offers Hanoians a greater variety of dining options. By providing gourmet quick light bites for dining-in and prepared foods to take home, VINE Cellar Door makes a difference from other fine dining venues in the city. I am very excited about the new VINE Cellar Door and the up-coming plans and events we have for it,” said Ezio Rosa, VINE Cellar Door and Events manager.

The re-launch of VINE Cellar Door is part of VINE Group’s continuous efforts of being the leading quality hospitality company in Vietnam, creating unrivaled dining and hospitality experiences for Vietnamese clientele, tourists and expatriates residing here.
