From the beginning of the year, investment attraction activities of Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park have shown many good signals. On February 9, the PBAT Biodegradable Plastic Factory Project of An Phat Holdings Group launched its construction in the industrial park.
Attending the ceremony were members of the Politburo and National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.
PBAT Biodegradable Plastic Factory is the first green material factory in Southeast Asia and among high-tech projects prioritised for investment, with a capacity of 30,000 tons per year, expected to be completed after 24 months.
The project follows the development orientation of the high-tech industry of Haiphong. At the same time, the facility contributes to Vietnam's commitment to net zero emissions by 2050.
