New ERP solution to revamp construction and project-based companies in Vietnam |
CETAS has recognised the massive growth in Vietnam’s real estate and construction sector. Thus, the Indian IT company started to look for a local partner to make in-roads into the fast-developing market. In August, CETAS announced a new strategic partnership with NETiKA to bring their NAVBUILD solution to Vietnam.
NETiKA is a global player in the IT services world, recognised for its technological mastery and expertise in large-scale projects. The company has a long and healthy track record in Vietnam for providing ERP solutions like Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (formerly known as NAVISION) and SAP Business One.
These ERP solutions have helped companies in Vietnam become more streamlined and efficient by handling their accounting, stock, and distribution, among others.
Meanwhile, the latest solution – NAVBUILD – is purpose-built to target construction firms, architecture firms, companies in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry, as well as project-based companies.
Scott Gelsthorpe, the firm’s Sales and Marketing manager, told VIR that Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP designed for SME combined with pointed Industry vertical add-ons in the likes of Navbuild yields maximum return on investments than otherwise.
Specifically, NAVBUILD is a vertical add-on that can be implemented on top of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Navision.
This versatile software tool will help companies to streamline business processes right from project estimation through to its effective execution. It also enables companies to gain real-time visibility on earned-value across projects they execute to make better decisions for successful completion.
Gelsthorpe believed that the software will give a boost to local construction and other project-based businesses. It can handle everything from the drawing stage by integrating the design content from Auto-Cad directly into NAVBUILD as well as handling the estimation stages for costs of materials and services amongst many others. All of these things are tracked very accurately so that companies can understand what their margin and realised profit are.
“If project elements are not easy to identify, modify, and track, then they can lose control of their costs quickly. Thus, NAVBUILD gives a full 360-degree view of these elements, stages, with industry-recognised terminology. This will help deliver a competitive edge and a more successful project in all aspects,” he said.
On the same note, Jean Ehlinger, managing director of NETiKA, said that there are more and more project-based developments in Vietnam as a lot of new buildings break-ground everyday in the country.
Manufacturers are ramping up investment by developing new warehouses and factories. If they have a project to develop a building or factory, they can use NAVBUILD to monitor and manage their project efficiently, especially in terms of costs and timeline. With this one-stop software, companies can track their expenses and progress to make adjustments at the planning stage to avoid mistakes in the future.
He further noted that, “We should never forget that if we fail to prepare, then we are only preparing to fail. CETAS has developed NAVBUILD as an end-to-end ERP solution for industry that will help companies plan and execute projects in such detail that meeting the toughest strategic objectives is achievable.”
Meanwhile, Prakash Kandaraj, Channel Development director of CETAS, is upbeat about the tie-up. He said, “NETiKA has deep knowledge and expertise in ERP, which should prove extremely valuable for our current and future customers. This partnership aligns with our core strategy on many fronts and we are excited to introduce it to Vietnam.”
Indeed, NETiKA was selected by CETAS for its ability to learn the software and deliver it professionally. NETiKA have built a team of excellent and experienced staff who are always eager to learn new tools and software to bring more benefits to existing and potential clients.
For the next step, NETiKA will identify potential clients in the Vietnamese market. The firm is planning to set up events and seminars where it can invite customers to explore the software with its tremendous benefits and potential added value to their business.
The software is not only easy to adopt, but the costs are reasonable. This versatile software tool will provide functionality specifically designed for the industry-focused needs of companies in Vietnam.
