The move targets to stabilise the domestic gas market as gas prices on the world market went up.
Accordingly, the MoF will cut gas import taxes from the current 5 per cent to 2 per cent. The taxes of other types of natural gas are kept at 0 per cent.
The circular will come into effect since January 1, 2011 on.
