Kien Giang province scraps tardy resort project
Kien Giang province has accepted a recommendation by the local Department of Planning and Investment to cancel the licence issued to Kien Giang Tourist to build the Phu Tu Resort for failing to furnish a 1/500-scale plan for the 144,000-square-metre project.
Due to the tardy pace of development and investment, there have been instances of squatting on the land by locals.
